Project Proposal for South Africa Travel Guidebook Purpose: Select and assess primary sources and submit a proposed project that shows the viability of a project subject. Task: First, learn about the assignment for the final project Travel Guidebook. Then choose a project topic. Your topic should be thematic and geographical, such that you will examine change in a specific location through time via a certain lens. This subject may be wide for tiny sites, but if you choose a city or a region, it should be more particular. Examples include “Cape Town as a Jazz City,” “Drakensburg Mountains Rule and Resistance” or “West Cape Farm Stall Histories.” You help focus the guide by choosing a place. The entire country cannot be used as the basis for the handbook. You are now going to submit a proposal for this final project. The proposal should have a length of roughly 1-2 double spaced pages and should consist of: [HINT: Organize the proposal with the following bullet points] 1. A preliminary guide title 1. 2. An explanation of the subject in a few phrases. Be sure to explain the subject and the area/city/square. 3. Ideas for mini-topics for articles in your handbook.

The digital platform you use to execute the project (BookWright, Microsoft Publisher and so forth). Note: for this project, you must use a dedicated publishing platform. Do not use, for instance, MS Word, Google Docs or Apple Pages) Use the regular font of 12 pt and the margin of 1 inch. You will receive a full or incomplete score for this entry. In order to ensure complete credit, all elements of this assignment must be included.
