You will begin by clearly identifying a research study of your choice. You may choose something currently relevant, or a classic psychology experiment or study that you have previously heard about or are curious about.
Demonstrate your understanding of this weeks content on research using your research article as a focus. Incorporate as many concepts as you can while you describe the following from your article
What was the study’s hypothesis? What were the researchers trying to determine?
Summarize the important elements of the study. Consider the following:
Who conducted the research and what were their affiliations?
What was the size of the sample?
How did they select their sample?
Who made up the sample?
How long did the research last?
What was the independent variable?
What was the dependent variable?
What were the research methods used (design/technique)? Was the study an experiment, survey, correlational study, etc.? What data did they collect and how was it collected? Explain.
What were the findings from your study?
Do you feel there was any bias in the study? Why or why not?
