Description Summary: Each participant must select a subject relevant to his/her professional/business interests and undertake a pilot study or a small scale exploratory inquiry on this subject.
In particular, you will be expected to formulate, define, describe and justify the methodologies and perform a small-scale research project on the selected topic. The proposal requires each student to put forward a topic for research related to their professional / business needs and following a list of potential themes created by the lead module or proposed by the students.
You are needed to propose a precise relevant research question. Then you need to identify, clearly describe and justify the procedures used to reply to the research question and then perform a little research investigation, employing the proper analytical tools to analyze the acquired information.
You can utilize software tools to help analyze such software, for example, in the quantitative usage of analytics software, such as Minitab, SPSS, STATA, etc. MS Excel is also a popular tool for analyzing basic data. Note that, regardless of what tools are actually utilized, the emphasis should be on a grasp of the data analysis process.
The project output should include I the introduction to the project, (ii) the relevant study literature review, (iii) details on the design of the study, (iv) clarification of the analysis carried out and analysis of results and further details on the evaluation criteria document.
The reporting agreement should be provided as a portfolio of no more than 4800 words, ensuring that all sources are cited and referenced using Harvard style.
