Strategic Planning in Health-Care Organizations
What factors influence HSOs’ organizational strategies? How do health-care administrators deal with elements that influence, affect, and jeopardize HSO operations?
Situational studies aid health-care administrators in identifying the aspects that contribute to the overall situation of an HSO’s operation. As we discussed earlier in the course, a number of factors can influence how health care administrators plan, implement, and update improvement projects inside HSOs. Consider the significance of strategic evaluation in addressing those elements for maximum improvement as you continue your investigation of these aspects in the context of enhancing HSO performance.
Review Case 3, HSO Strategic Assessment, from Chapter 9 of the text, Managing Health Services Organizations and Systems, for this assignment. Consider the aspects from the general and health-care contexts that have the most impact on the case’s situational analysis. Then analyze how these characteristics might effect HSO-implemented organizational strategies. To finish the Assignment, go over the Week 4 Case Questions paper in this week’s Learning Resources.
The Task (about 46 pages):
Fill in the blanks on the case questions.
Make sure to back up your claims with evidence from the literature.
