This week we are focusing on lighting. You will list 2 television programs or feature film that you like. Choose one that is a high key low contrast show and one that is low key and high contrast. For the two shows you choose to discuss, list qualities and elements of the lighting, try to apply terms and concepts that were covered in the lighting chapters. There is no need to go into performance characteristics, just discuss the technical aspects of the lighting.
Step 1: Identify two TV programs or feature films, one that represents high key and low contrast and one that represents low key and high contrast.
Step 2: Use the language and concepts in the lighting chapters to describe how discuss the qualities and elements of the lighting that are being applied in these films,
Step 3: Post the descriptions of the programs/films by Thursday at 11:59 pm.
Step 4: Post the reply to a classmate and Discuss similarities and differences between their observations and your own.
