Organize your paper as follows:
Introduction: There is nothing that says a paper has to be dull. Create an interesting opening that makes me want to read it. Let me know why I should care about it, what I can anticipate learning if I read the paper, etc. Use quotes or facts to set up the premise of the rest of your paper.
Thesis Your thesis should represent your interpretation of this subject matter, not just repeating what someone else has said or written. Your thesis is your opinion, why you believe your thesis to be valid, who it should matter to, etc.
Body paragraphs of Proof Points or evidence backing up your thesis: You need proof points to serve as evidence of your thesis. Write these paragraphs with the thought of proving that your thesis is right by presenting your argument backed by research from sources, and by documenting those sources in the back of your paper.
Conclusion: Your conclusion should be a final paragraph making a final argument or comment on your overall thesis or topic. Summarize your argument, why your opinion is right, and why your opinion should or will matter to someone.
