Observational Astronomy is a branch of astronomy that studies the universe through observation
You will be observing the night sky for this project.
Go to the BBC Night Sky Magazine’s channel on YouTube. Take notes while watching the video for this month (IT MUST BE RECENT FOR YOU TO SEE SOMETHING IN THE SKY AS THE SKY CHANGES EACH NIGHT). 5 points apiece for a total of 20 points.

1) Make a list of all the planets, constellations, and galaxies visible in the night sky this month (400-word minimum). Make a note of which video you viewed, for instance: August 2020, what to look for in the night sky.
Take a walk outside whenever you like and make two observations a week apart.
2) Draw a diagram for both observations, labeling what you saw in the evening sky in relation to the horizon and the direction you were looking when you observed it. Include the date and time of the event.
3) Draw a sketch of the moon for each observation, being sure to note the phase.
4) Drop your summary and sketches into the given dropbox. Have fun watching!
