Questions:
-Make a comparison and contrast between World War I and World War II. Do you believe this was the same war as before, but with a longer break? Why do you think that is?
-How did World War I’s causes of war and warfare influence the type of treaty the Germans signed after the war? What was the difference between this treaty and Woodrow Wilson’s “Fourteen Points”? Do you think the final treaty was fair or unfair, considering the perspectives of the British, French, and Germans? Why?
-Talk about women’s roles during World War I, the Interwar Period, and World War II. What was women’s experience and influence? How did the status of women differ in the United States and the Soviet Union?
-What were the causes of the Russian Revolution in the long and short term? How did World War I affect both the initial revolution and the revolution’s conclusion/final outcome? How did the Revolution influence, or not influence, the outcome of World War I?
