Creating an Organizational Management System
Assume you’re a behavior analyst who has recently started a new practice. You intend to hire three new certified behavior analysts (RBTs). As the owner and only behavior analyst at your company, you are responsible for ensuring that your new
RBTs are well-trained, follow your behavior plans, and fulfill any other performance goals (such as, turning in data sheets and collecting accurate data).
Describe your staff training procedure and support your decisions with evidence from the literature.
What will your first training sessions entail?
How will you know if they have grasped the training goals?
Explain how you’ll make sure the RBTs stick to their behavior plans in detail (for example, use of fidelity checklists, frequency and duration of supervision sessions).
When conducting supervision sessions, what kind of documentation will you use?
How often and for how long will you observe the RBTs?
What method will be used to deliver feedback?
Describe how you would build up a management system to ensure that your supervisees (RBTs and trainees) maintain a high level of performance.
What would you do to ensure that you have constant supervision?
If performance concerns emerge, describe your system.
How will you assess the situation and formulate a strategy?
