Scenario
You’ve completed your master’s degree and are working in your area. Your manager has urged you to conduct research and prepare a scholarly paper for publication on a topic in your field. You recall taking a graduate course in Research and Writing in which you did some preliminary work on a research issue that has always piqued your attention. This will be your chance to go deeper into that research question and put everything together in an academic report.
Instructions
Create a research issue that interests you, undertake research to answer it, and produce a thorough scholarly paper on the topic. The following sections should be included in this paper:
An introduction that explains your research question, purpose, and how your work addresses a research gap or shortcoming. Explain any study limitations as well as how you handled any potential ethical difficulties.
A part devoted to a survey of the current literature on the subject. At least five recent and relevant papers linked to your research subject should be discussed in this part.
A section describing the procedures you used to conduct your research.
Data gathering and analysis are covered in this section.
A part in which you describe your findings.
A part at the end of your paper that assesses the usefulness of your research and any practical consequences it may have.
