EVEN THOUGH I SUBMITTED A POWERPOINT, IT WAS 85% plagiarized! lol! I’m not sure if you want to rewrite the entire attachment!
You must complete the competency assessment in order to obtain credit. If you have any questions, you should contact your lecturer.
This competency assessment (CA) evaluates your performance on the specific Outcome(s) that this module focuses on. You must demonstrate your knowledge, comprehension, and competency of the Outcome to the CA. Before attempting the CA, make sure you’ve completed all of the previous activities in this module. You may take the CA as many times as you want during the term. To receive credit, the CA must be completed successfully by the end of the term. Additional information on the amount of attempts allowed can be found in your Syllabus.
Review the Competency Assessment Rubric to learn about the factors that will be used to evaluate you.
The CA will be evaluated by the instructors. Follow the submission requirements and deadlines in your Syllabus if you anticipate to get feedback, edit, and resubmit this CA near the conclusion of the semester.
Additional competency assessment requirements might be found in your Syllabus.
The following Outcome(s) are assessed in this competency assessment:
CM220M5-1: Create strategies for leveraging digital media to solve problems effectively.
Consider the ability of advertising to persuade us to buy a new product, vote for a specific candidate, or donate to a charity. Many of these commercials use a combination of words, visuals, and music to appeal to our emotions and senses in ways that words alone may not be able to. You will use technology, writing, and research skills to create a digital media presentation that combines text, images, and possibly sound to make an argument for change that can appeal to an audience, similar to a powerful advertisement or public service announcement, for this competency assessment.
Identify a researchable problem in your community or workplace that you want to remedy. You could suggest that your company switch to a different health-care plan, push for the installation of speed bumps in your neighborhood, or lobby for a ban on plastic shopping bags in your city. Because you have already created a thesis and gathered sources to support your claims, it is recommended that you employ the same topic as in previous courses.
The design guidelines in the Writing resource Creating Effective PowerPoint Presentations should be used in your digital media presentation. More importantly, by blending text and graphics to persuade your audience of the value of your point, you are honing your composition skills.
Requirements for Minimum Submissions
The following characteristics should be included in the digital media presentation:
Format for a slide presentation
Subject page/slide featuring your name, title of presentation, and course information
Not including the title and references slides, there are at least 810 slides.
At least four sources are used in the research, and at least two graphics containing information are used.
At the very least, four visuals
Both in text and in a references slide or separate Word document, research and graphics are cited using the APA citation system. You must cite material that has been taken straight from a source. A presentation is held to the same standards as an essay.
A clear message in support of a change argument in your community or business.
Follows the criteria stated in Designing an Effective Presentation portion of Creating Effective PowerPoint Presentations.

If the work submitted for this competency assessment does not match the minimal submission requirements, it will be returned for correction. If the work produced does not satisfy the minimal submission standards by the end of the semester, you will receive a failing score.
Plagiarism
Plagiarism is an act of academic dishonesty. It violates the Universitys Code of Student Conduct, and the infraction is subject to disciplinary action. You are expected to be the single author of your work. Use of another person’s work or ideas must be accompanied by precise citations and references. Whether the activity is intentional or not, it still constitutes plagiarism.
