This assignment is a research-analysis paper of at least four pages, double-spaced (This page count does not include a title page, abstract (optional), table of contents (optional), Reference listing page(s), or end-notes page(s) (if needed)). The
source material should mostly come from self-directed investigation of the course’s prescribed materials and readings. The content of the paper should be about four pages long, and it should be the written outcomes of your research work.
Topic: Pick two of the following questions/issues and write on them for two pages each:
– Compare and contrast the counterintelligence security services of the United States and those of a foreign country.

– Is the Intelligence Community’s current counterintelligence situation adequate? Why do you think that is?
– Describe how counterintelligence had a role in a key intelligence failure. Pearl Harbor, the invasion of the Bay of Pigs, the Tet Offensive of 1968, the Yom Kippur War, and 9/11 are just a few examples.
– Discuss unique counterintelligence difficulties that may or may not apply to other types of counterintelligence (national security, military, law enforcement, business, private).
A title page, citations, and a References list are all required for your paper. The Chicago style should be used for your paper.
