STATEMENT OF THE PROBLEM
Name of the Student
Affiliation with a University
The Problem Statement Template is a template for stating the problem.
The Statement of the Topic (SoP) must highlight a specific problem that hasn’t been addressed in the literature, isn’t well understood, or isn’t well explained by theory in the case of a PhD study. The Statement of the Problem section can be written using this template. Limit the first three sections to no more than 1-2 words, citing recent peer-reviewed research. Put a page number with the sources used as a temporary reference as you add to these parts. This requires you to connect what you’re writing to a specific quote or quotes in the source, which will improve your citation accuracy. Make certain that what you write corresponds to the author’s description. References
