News Articles: Criminal Justice incidents or issues occur or are highlighted almost daily within the news media. Students will be required to research a news article that is relevant to the topic of study in our criminal law class. The student will submit a copy of the news article along with a review of the article. The review is not a summary of the article but is a review of the article and an explanation of its relevance concerning criminal law. The review must be at least 500 words in length, contain correct grammar, and be double spaced. Please cite at least two sources in APA.
Topics may include Criminal defenses, double jeopardy, affirmative defenses, immunity as a defense, mistakes or ignorance of fact as a defense, intoxication or drug use as a defense, supreme courts, or criminal punishment.
