Instructions:
OPTION 1: Create a change management strategy. Choose an organization that requires “transformation” in its culture, structure, systems/processes, or climate from your personal experience or from reputable sources. Make a complete change management plan using the principles from this course. Include an introduction detailing the situation and need for change, an analysis of the organization’s culture, structure, processes, and climate, and a plan to implement change that includes the type(s) of approaches to be employed, the change vision, and other critical considerations in leading change. Finally, present a risk assessment of what can sabotage the change plan and what can help it succeed, as well as the risk mitigation measures you’ll employ to deal with unfavorable risks.
OPTION 2: Create a Conflict Resolution Plan. Find an example of a company that is going through (or should be going through) a transition process. Identify several places where you perceive the potential for conflict inside the employee/management base and/or with external audiences like as clients, customers, or other stakeholders, based on our classroom sessions and additional reading. Assess and analyze the scenario to determine the fundamental reasons of the conflict, the dispute’s drivers (both issue and personality identification), and the conflict’s potential to escalate. Create a conflict management strategy that recognizes different types of conflicts and suggests ways to manage and resolve them.
OPTION 3: Create an environmental scan for a specific organization. There should be an introduction that explains the e-purpose, scan’s research process, and projected advantages to the organization. List the external aspects you’ll include in your e-scan, such as technical, economic, political, climatic change, demographics, market dynamics, communication, and public opinions. Analyze how each of the causes affects the organization now, and make a prediction based on good data about how the identified concerns will affect the organization in the future. Make it clear what that impact is in your analysisfinancial, operational, reputational, competitiveness, and so on. Make suggestions for how management should deal with the issues raised by the e-scan.
