Meteorological hazards are prevalent throughout the United States. As such, emergency managers need to keep a finger on the pulse of current and forecasted weather. To help ensure that adequate watch/warning is issued for severe weather, the Storm Prediction Center in Norman, OK monitors several different types of meteorological hazards.
