For this assignment, you will write a scholarly paper that considers both the Industrial Revolution and one military revolution from this unit (your choice of: American, pre-1800 French, or Haitian).
In your paper, you must accomplish the following objectives.
Begin with an introduction in which you identify both a key achievement and the greatest negative impact (or unattained goal) for both revolutions.
Explain your choices, summarizing each process or revolt.
Describe the meaning of revolution for the 18th century in your own words.
Describe the economic, political, and philosophical factors that shaped the outcomes for each revolution and contributed to the ongoing evolution of society.
The document Unit III Scholarly Activity Guidance provides additional content requirement and helpful guidance to assist you in writing your paper. Be sure to review the cautionary information at the beginning of the unit lesson regarding writing about history.
You must use at least two sources, one of which must come from the CSU Online Library. The Academic Search Ultimate and JSTOR databases in the CSU Online Library are good places to start your search. You may use additional resources, but those cannot include Wikipedia, biography.com, history.com, any encyclopedia, or blog. Be sure to use academic sources that go beyond common knowledge and reveal more complex information and interpretations of the revolutions.
Your paper must be at least two pages in length, not including the title and reference pages. Follow APA Style when creating citations and references for this assignment.
