Parts of a Flower (Title)
The goal is to look at the architecture in a flower.
Material / Apparatus: blade, flower
Method:
1) Choose a flower that you like.
2) To disclose the reproductive structures, cut the blossom in half vertically [top to bottom].
3) Draw half of a flower [see drawing instructions].
4) Keep a journal of your findings.
The following are the outcomes: (Draw a cross-section of the flower using drawing guidelines)
Attach a clear photograph of the drawing to the lab report.
Drawing Instructions
Use a pencil that is firm and sharp. Crayons, markers, and colored pencils are not permitted.
The diagram should be large and clear (occupying 70% of the page), and it should be drawn on plain paper (paper with NO lines).
Shades should never be used in drawings.
A FULL UNDERLINED TITLE written in CAPITAL LETTERS should be written beneath all drawings / diagrams.
Labels should be written in pencil on one side alone.
Label lines should be made horizontally with a ruler and should never cross. At the conclusion of label lines, arrowheads should not be utilized.
