thesis: Students are severely lacking the time to sleep enough for their brains to function the way they should, thus US high schools should change the daily school schedule so students can get 30min-1hour midday sleeping time.
essay goal: propose the idea that high school students need more sleep but they are overwhelmed by the amount of home work and extracurricular activities. therefore, introducing the solution of adding a longer lunch/nap break during school day to give students the opportunity to enjoy the midday nap.
