Presentation at the Adulthood Development Group Forum
This is an assignment for the Collaborative Learning Community (CLC).
Prenatal development, infancy and childhood, adolescent and emerging adulthood, early, middle, and late adulthood will all be assigned to your group. Your group will next develop a PowerPoint presentation with 10-12 slides, including title and reference slides.
Your group will do research on the developmental period, which will include:
A description of this period’s physical, cognitive, and socioemotional development.
Explain the factors that have an impact during the developmental period you’ve been allocated. For example, attachment in childhood, parenting styles in childhood, bullying in adolescence, early adulthood views on marriage, and late adulthood views on the elderly.
Describe important developmental theories and the developmental phase to which your group has been assigned.
To back up your arguments, use three to five scholarly sources. Use the textbook and other resources you’ve found and read to apply pertinent ideas mentioned in the textbook.
Include speaker notes underneath each content-related slide that represent what you would say in person if you were giving the presentation. Do not merely reiterate the material on the slide; instead, expand on it. Please make sure that each slide has 50-75 words in the speaker notes.
My contribution is limited to the Adulthood Development Group Forum.
3-Socioemotional Development (Consider Kholberg’s Moral Development Theory.) Also consider how relationships evolve and what they look like at this period in life.) as well as cognitive growth (Look for Piaget’s Theory of Cognitive Development, Language Development, Intelligence, and other topics in our Ebook.)
