Your task is to locate five different household chemicals from your residence and answer the following questions: (Your submission must be typed and formatted in a sequential order) (10pts possible, all must be answered or no points will be given)
1) Provide a current SDS for each chemical and attach for submission (URL is fine)
2) What is the print date of the SDS?
3) What is the chemical’s intended use? Why did you purchase it? Where do you store it in your residence?
4) Note the flashpoint and points of acute toxicity (if available).
5) Provide two items from each SDS that is significant to you and provide a reason why.
6) Has the chemical expired? What is your disposal plan if you do not consume all of the product?
7) Create a risk assessment table to rank exposure. Then summarize the hazards with a rank of 1-5 (5 being the most severe)
8) Choose two chemicals and explain the resultant (what would happen) if they were mixed together.
9) Provide a list of the PPE required when using each chemical as its intended use.
10) Do you have any corrective actions since completing this assignment?
