Faber College has been the subject of a series of targeted attacks by a range of perpetrators. Your boss has given you the duty of reviewing current port and vulnerability scan data from a typical system to discover which ports and services are vulnerable to attackers and which vulnerabilities exist on that system.

B. This document must be formatted according to the APA 7 Professional Paper Format. Purdue Online Writing Lab APA 7 C is a page I use almost entirely when using APA formatting. Length: 3 to 5 pages, not counting cover sheet and references.
D. At the end of the assignment, write a two-paragraph report that summarizes what you accomplished, what you learned, and any issues you faced. Also, opinions, suggestions, keep, trash, and other (project-related) items.
1. Examine the findings of the Zenmap scan. The following questions must be addressed in your report:
1.1. According to the Zenmap scan, what are the first five open ports?

2. The Nessus scan discovered two significant vulnerabilities, ID 32314 and ID 33850, respectively.
2.1. Check the vulnerabilities against the CVE database (Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures).
2.2. Give each vulnerability a name and a brief explanation.
3. Determine what can be done to secure the system, defend the campus network from data-gathering attempts, and address weaknesses. Also, figure out which ports and services will most likely need to stay open.
4. Write a report aimed at Faber College’s IT management and systems administration employees, outlining the vulnerabilities and protection procedures that the college should implement across all similar systems.
5. At the end of the Worksheet, write a two-paragraph summary detailing what you completed and learned, as well as any issues you faced.
6. You are free to use this report to apply to your present employer’s network or a circumstance that is relevant to you.
