I submitted my rough draft it needs some editing. my teacher sends me a comment of my rough draft: Good topic and info but missing thesis and minor claims here…by informing the reader on various aspects of the topic, this becomes a report (not our assignment). Instead, this is an argument paper and it needs a strong thesis and minor claims.
For thesis, do you think social media has had a positive impact? negative? State your position clearly as your thesis (last sentence of intro). Then, each specific benefit (or harm) should be one minor claim (one body section). Use topic sentences to state the minor claims clearly in the body paragraphs. Let me know if you have any questions and don’t forget to proofread (watch POV no “you” stay in 3rd person).
