Sustainable Community Development Paper Assignment Term Paper
In the practice of sustainable community development, a professional consultant may be notified, usually through a Request for Proposals (RFP) or a Request for Expression of Interest (REI), that an opportunity exists to help a community improve itself, usually with an interest in enhancing its ability to be a sustainable community. The professional consultant usually has to bid for such an opportunity by submitting a proposal, in competition with other consultants. The proposal should reflect the information and identified needs of the community as stated in the RFP or REI.
For the Final Project, look in depth at your community and identify a problem related to sustainability. Using the bullet points below, create your own proposal in response to an RFP your community might put forward for bid. Your proposal should carry out a scope of work that addresses the problem identified. The proposal should reflect the principles, concepts, and application of strategies, tools, and methods presented in this course.
