Student Q&A
Any additional information about the case assignment based on student questions will be posted here as questions comes in.
Q1: What does “what should Heather Bresch do” mean?. I am not sure if this means what she should do about prices, or what actions she should take in general as a response to the email she received.
A1: You should be able to identify the major issues facing Heather Bresch and the company based on the case information yourself as part of you case analysis. In general when you see an open question in a case study, then it is up to you to examine the text and interpret the question based on the information at hand. And most of the time, identification of issues and interpretation of questions are part of the learnings from analyzing a case. But to point you in the right direction, one issue is of course how to quell public anger about the high price of EpiPens.
Q2: Is the income statement in thousands or millions of dollars? Or are the income statement numbers exactly as shown?
A2: With a simple Google search for Myland N.V. income statements you can see that it is listed in million $.
