Professional Responsibility (Unit 9, Assignment 2)
In project management, project managers have an ethical professional duty to uphold. The Project Management Institute (PMI) has set official criteria that project managers must follow.
Instructions for the Assignment
Assignment 1: Your firm has chosen to offer you with a new smart phone of your choosing; however, you must submit a proposal to your procurement manager detailing your choice, including benchmarks for selected device capabilities and costs. Create a Competitor Evaluation Benchmark in MS Excel by listing at least five of your evaluation criteria down the first column and at least four commercial smart phone manufacturers across the top row (with at least one vendor being international). Determine which criteria are more significant and give them greater weight. Keep in mind that price is a factor as well.
To create your competitor evaluation benchmark, use the competitor array chart below as an example. Remember that the equations are not included in this chart and must be included in your benchmark. The grading criteria can be found in your grading rubric.
Instructions for the Assignment
