Paper details:
I am implementing an IT solution and method in our PMO (program management office) in our health service. Our department build and roll out the solutions for Covid vaccinations, covid management and also integration solutions and health identifiers for all other IT solutions in our health service. We use a combination of water (traditional) and agile project management but not to a consistent structured format. the waterfall for our the requests come from the business, and agile in how the software is developed. I am writing a strategy and operating model of how this will be done. Then we have an IT solution I am designing and implementing and then to a new hybrid model I am developing, which combines our ticketing system (for handling requests) and Microsoft Azure Dev Boards that tracks and for management of the software being developed, and both of these I am integrating in managing all of the pipeline demand and then software development and sign off to the business customers. I have been accepted previous to a fellowship masters in a college for another research title and project. Now the college are happy I change the title and focus of the research so it can be applied to my current work in the health service. I want the focus of the research at the end to have a practical model that my department can use for integrating both Waterfall (traditional) and agile project management in carrying out this software development and delivery. I want to do in then based on literature review of the best approaches, then interviews of what my colleagues at work think based on interviews, and possible use observations, and then synthesis of literature of this. I dont want to necessary do it as action research, as I want to get out of this thesis quickly, and thus based if possible on a case study approach of what is happening already and not dependant on the delivery of my new IT solution and model, but how currently we are using hybrid, that my team see it is the best approach, and have use this to various degrees else where. Then at the end of my study I want to have recommendations and conclusions, which will be new model as applied to my department I want the shortest route possible to finish the thesis and where my university will accept of completing such a thesis and research. I have outlined in the file attached a list of references I found already that discuss the hybrid approach in different contexts. So what I need is research proposal of the hybrid approach as applied to software development and delivery in healthcare. Other aspects are why project fail, how waterfall fail, and how agile fail and why is hybrid better, and what are the best models of this. So from the literature review, it is well covered about the hybrid approach but I think the research gap is as it could be applied to healthcare. I am proposing that is maybe the best research gap. However the writer may find an easier research gap on this or a slight edit on this as makes sense to what I am doing at work and what is most practical and easiest way for me to get through the thesis quickly. The research proposal should be 15 to 29 pages at least and cover topics and other as suggested by the writer Research Proposal headings (got this from a template) (How to develop content of table and place relevant information; structure of proposal is mentioned below) 1. Background of study (is this both what I am doing on my own department and what is in the literature or what the writer suggests should be in the background. It would be great if I can use context where useful to what I am doing already in the department. See my strategy and other documents attached.)) 2. Country context (is this necessary or not, prefer if I dont have to be country specific, and if necessary to put it in, b but will take advice from the writer) 3. Problem statement (Gaps in literature) 4. Research questions 5. Research objectives 6. Purpose of study 7. Significance of study 8. Scope of study 9. Operational definition of key terms used in the proposal 10. Proposed research methodology (in my case, I am suggesting it will be qualitative study using in-depth interviews, observations and systematic review of literature) 11. Expected outcomes 12. Implication of study (who will get benefit from this study) 14. How was the searches done. In this proposal, there will have to many references to support my proposal e.g. using some of what is in the uploaded file example or others as suggested by the writer. I need the writer to outline for both the proposal (and in more detail for me if can be done) how I will carry out the research methodology in a step by step manor, then how will I do the analysis and conclusions of the results. I want to know many people I will need to interview, hopefully not a big number. There is 60 in our department and 20 in the partner business department, maybe about 15 to 25 of them will work? Again would need suggestions from the writer. Once I am satisfied with this proposal, I want the writer to move straight to the literature review, which will be the next order. I want help writer help with the whole thesis.

Average Score 50-85% |
40-38 points More depth/detail for the background and significance is needed, or the research detail is not clear. No search history information is provided. |
83-76 points Review of relevant theoretical literature is evident, but there is little integration of studies into concepts related to problem. Review is partially focused and organized. Supporting and opposing research are included. Summary of information presented is included. Conclusion may not contain a biblical integration. |
52-49 points Content is somewhat organized, but no structure is apparent. The use of font, color, graphics, effects, etc. is occasionally detracting to the presentation content. Length requirements may not be met. |
