Description
IntroductionI believe in learning from mistakes
a. Mistake: I didnt study enough as a kid
II. How the mistake changed me
a. Questions to consider: How and why and when did you decide to start studying more? How did your behavior change? Why is it important to you that your behavior changed?
III. Conclusion: Who Ive become
a. Questions to consider: How are you different now than who you were as a child? Why is that important to you? How has it led you to this point? How do you want to continue to change and grow?
Reorganizing your essay in this way and/or adding some replies to the questions to consider above will help your reader understand not only who you were as a kid, but who you are today!
—Some things I would add: I started to see my resulting failure when I reached my 5th-grade year. I teacher pushed me to see that failure is not the best option in life. When I reached middle school, I used his advice to get A’s and I was feeling proud of myself. In elementary, I didn’t care about school, when I reached middle and high school, I started to change. My 5th-grade teacher changed me and getting A’s had been my goal ever since.
