The goal of this assignment is to show that you understand the fundamentals of the project management office (PMO) and the project management competency continuum. Address the following assignment critical aspects to meet this goal:
PMO Definition: Describe the project management office (PMO) and its purpose in your own words, based on your analysis of the readings, the module lecture, and your research.
Environment for Project Management: Make a point on how the PMO differs from portfolio, program, and project management. Determine three important PMO stakeholders and their areas of interest. Identify and justify the most frequent PMO architecture and kinds.
Value of PMO: Explain how the PMO improves project management and brings value to the company. Describe the five steps of the PMO competency continuum concept. Describe the PMO competency continuum and how it may be used to deliver long-term PMO value.
