Research Proposal (25% of your final grade):
A research proposal (8-10 pages) will be turned in at the end of the semester. More detailed guidelines for the proposal will be distributed and discussed during the course of the semester. This paper will propose to answer a research question or questions of your choice using IN-DEPTH INTERVIEWING METHODOLOGY.

Save work in at least 2 distinct locations (e.g., USB flash drive and computer hard drive). Computer crashes are not justified excuses for late work.
Upload to Turnitin on Canvas by date/time due.
Write in essay/paragraph (not outline) format with an introduction paragraph, a body of the paper comprised of multiple paragraphs, and conclusion paragraph.
When you discussed published material (either direct quotations or paraphrasing), you must cite it and include an ASA-format bibliography.
Spell check and proofread papers. Watch your grammar. I count spelling and grammatical errors in my grading.
Use 11 size Times New Roman font, double spacing, and 1 margins throughout.
