Trip to the Field
Review what was said regarding field excursions in your textbook, lecture, and reading “Field Trip Safety.” After you’ve finished reading, brainstorm places in your neighborhood or town where instructors could take students on a field trip. Make a list of at least three places you could take the kids on the Field Trip Planning Worksheet (Field Trip Planning Worksheet Revised.doc ). After you’ve made your choice, choose one of the places and fill out the Field Trip Planning Worksheet section by section.
You may not be able to perform a pre-visit of the location or go on a field trip due to COVID-19 and social distancing, but you can phone and acquire information about the location and ask questions to help you complete portions of the worksheet.
Typed, Times New Roman or Arial font, size 11/12 font, double spaced is the standard guideline. Make sure your work is free of errors in spelling, grammar, and punctuation. When citing sources, use the APA style.
